7 Restaurants in Dallas to Bring Your Dog

By Jordan Nix

Does your pooch give you the saddest look when you are getting ready to leave which ultimately leaves you feeling super guilty? You’re not alone. If we could take our dogs with us everywhere we went, we would! Here's a list of our favorite dog-friendly restaurants:

Lazy Dog

Lazy Dog not only welcomes dogs at their restaurant but takes it one step further. You can purchase a meal for you and your pooch to enjoy out on the patio. While the dog menu includes brown rice and grilled meats, don’t worry because the human menu has a wide variety of your All-American favorites.

Katy Trail Ice House

After walking your pup down The Katy Trail on a sunny afternoon, you can stop by the Katy Trail Ice House. This restaurant, located in Uptown, is the home to a communal beer garden with over 50 beers on tap. You can hangout on the patio, try one -or a few- of their beers on tap, and eat great BBQ all in one place.

Cane Rosso

What’s the best thing on the planet (besides your dog, of course)? The answer is pizza. Not only does this restaurant serve authentic Italian style pizza, but it also supports the company’s canine rescue organization, Cane Rosso Rescue, that helps save the lives of abandoned dogs.

Truck Yard

This adult playground doubles as a beer garden that you can enjoy with your furry friend. Grab your dog, enjoy a beer with your buddies, listen to live music, and even snag a bite to eat at one of the food trucks. You’ve got to try the truck yard favorite, the classic cheesesteak.

Rodeo Goat

Your four-legged friend can join in on the action outside on the patio. On a bright and sunny day, they have water bowls for your dog and a cold brew for you. It’s going to be hard deciding on just one burger to order, based on the amazing array of selections they cook up.

Taqueria La Ventana

Street tacos, margaritas, and dogs… what more could you want? Take your dog out on the patio to enjoy a variety of authentic Mexican street tacos, burritos, or quesadillas.

We won’t judge you if you sneak them something to nibble on.

Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar

You can find Dallas’ largest garden patio where dogs are welcomed at Saint Ann’s. Your pup will love the casual atmosphere and you will love their delicious menu. Stop by on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, or Sunday brunch to listen to live music while you hang out with your bushy BFF.
